Just days after she announced her shock split from her husband James Placido after only eight months of marriage, Jodie Marsh has made another surprising announcement – she’s planning on having a baby via sperm donation.

The 37 year old former supermodel and sometime TV personality has seemingly decided to try by herself to have a first child, despite being marrying Placido only in August last year. She took to social media on Thursday evening (April 21st) to assure her fans that she wasn’t discouraged from her dreams of motherhood.

Jodie Marsh has stunned her fans by announcing that her seemingly fairytale wedding to James Placido has come to an end after just eight months.

The 37 year old glamour model broke the news via Instagram this morning, having only tied the knot with Placido in Barbados last August after a whirlwind romance. Previous social media messages had described him as “the one”, and an Instagram post from just last week of the couple walking their dogs had given off an impression of happily ever after for her.

Katie Price And New Husband Kieran Hayler

Jodie Marsh isn't going to let her feud with Katie Price die down anytime soon, is she? The former glamour girl-turned-bodybuilder insists that Price's new plasterer husband Kieran Hayler was "obsessed" with her before he hooked up with Katie, getting in-touch with her most between November 2011 and June 2012.

Jodie is quoted in celebrity magazine heat saying, "Kieran was obsessed with me. There were a load of people saying to me, 'Oh, he really likes you, Jodie - why don't you follow him on Twitter and give him a chance?' And I felt a bit pressured to follow him back," adding, "I followed him back but only for a short time, because his private messages became so incessant." Jodie said Kieran was a "party boy" and only wanted to be with her so that he could be seen with someone famous, "I almost feel a bit sorry for her, dare I say it?" she added.

It's Jodie Marsh's birthday today, and to celebrate she took herself, and her boobs, off on a holiday to Barbados, Tweeting pictures of herself lapping up the sun in her (almost) birthday suit.

Ok, its just a bikini, but a pretty skimpy one at that (what else would you expect), but still Marsh sure knows how to make us green with envy as she enjoys the glorious Caribbean weather. Earlier today, she informed her fans of her plans for the day, tweeting: "It's my birthday and I'll be posting bikini pics all day. Cos I'm not moving off this sun lounger today :-)," with an accompanying picture showing off her already sun-tanned body.

No one is quite sure just yet whether she is on holiday with anyone or just by herself, but frankly when you have a Barbadian beach, booze and a chance to fulfil you narcissistic desires of adoring your own body, would you really need anyone else there? Jodie sure doesn't.
