Joe Jackson is out of intensive care.

The 87-year-old showbiz showbiz patriarch - whose children include Janet Jackson and the late Michael Jackson - was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil over the weekend after suffering three heart attacks as well as a suspected stroke.

But according to Us Weekly, Joe is ''regaining his motor skills and starting to walk with assistance''.

Following the health scare, his daughter Janet called a halt to her rehearsals for The Unbreakable World Tour to be by her sick father's bedside.

The 'No Sleep' hitmaker took a private jet to Brazil and Joe is expected to fly back to the States with his daughter once he is up to it.

Joe's publicist previously told TMZ that his heart stopped beating for 10 seconds and he had a pacemaker inserted.

He originally lost his vision after an artery burst behind his eye- which is believed to have caused the stroke.

Joe - who suffers from diabetes - has had three previous strokes.

His last was a mild stroke in November 2012, when he was placed under observation at a Las Vegas hospital after complaining of pains in his head and difficulty standing.
