Joff Winks Band Share My Blues Single

'Share My Blues' by the Joff Winks Band, yeah, that's right 'Joff'…I know, that's what I thought. Anyway, name aside, lets look at this track.

Well it opens with softly strung guitars that wouldn't sound out of place in an Incubus tune. Infact imagine a group of guys in your local area, influences are Incubus, Silverchair, and various picks and plucks from the 'grunge' scene, and you're pretty much where these guys are. There's nothing groundbreaking in their sound, it's a palatable blend of washy guitars, soft harmonies and by the book licks, strums and chords.

The pace of this track is quite nice. An almost lazy amalgamation of sound that wouldn't sound out of place on the OC soundtrack: "Oh no, Marissa, it'll be okay, don't worry, he'll realise what he's done."

It depends what you're after in music, but this isn't really worth putting much effort into acquiring.
