What, would you imagine, would be the best thing about appearing in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' as a long-time fan of the franchise? Getting to wear those cool costumes? Visiting those incredible sets? Or being awarded the millions of dollars in box office sales and ultimate respect from fans forevermore? For John Boyega, the best thing was in fact getting to meet his life-long hero and now co-star Harrison Ford.

In a short featurette released ahead of the film's release in December 2015, we see Boyega giving Ford a huge hug before presenting him with a large Han Solo action figure, a broad grin spread across his face. It's not entirely clear whether Ford signed 'Harrison Ford' or 'Han Solo' on the front of the toy, but either way, Boyega looked immensely thrilled and totally lost for words, while co-star Daisy Ridley looked on, impressed.

'Star Wars' magic, it does take your breath away', he mused in the featurette. 'That's something that George Lucas started and we're definitely carrying that on.'

Boyega was also seen looking more 'Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy' than 'In a galaxy far far away' as he marvelled at the Millenium Falcon set still wearing his bathrobe. The young actor, who previously starred in 'Attack The Block', plays a redeemed former stormtrooper named Finn in the new movie; a move beyond his wildest dreams growing up as the franchise's number one fan (like every other new member of the cast, it seems).

The film has been directed by JJ Abrams of the 'Star Trek' films and also stars Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac. It sees the return of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia (General Leia this time) and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.

Filming has reportedly already begun for 2017's 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'.
