The Wall Trailer

Two American soldiers fighting in the Iraq war (2003 - 2011) are hiding out in the desert, guns poised. When they spot something suspicious on the horizon, the elder of the two decides to go down and investigate after assessing that there is little danger after a period of absolutely no movement. No sooner has he approached the vehicle that they had been watching and discovered two corpses in the front seat, than shots are fired and he is down. When his comrade runs to his aid, more shots are fired and he is forced to take cover behind a crumbling brick wall, leaving his friend lying mere feet away and slowly bleeding to death. He radios in for help, but soon realises that the enemy have hijacked the line and they are tormenting him as he struggles to get a visual on the attacking sniper. He has no choice but to stay where he is, but he is running out of water and there is no shelter from the scorching sun.

WWE Superstars John Cena and Nikki Bella have been huge stars of the wrestling world for some time now. As some of the company's most popular faces, they've not only enjoyed success inside a WWE ring, but on reality shows 'Total Divas' and 'Total Bellas' amongst various other places and outlets.

One of those places is the official YouTube account for The Bella Twins; one that Nikki shares with her twin sister Brie Bella. Reaching over half a million subscribers on the video sharing platform, Nikki and her fiance John decided to celebrate the occasion with a naked video, bearing all for their loyal fans who would likely love to see the two in the buff.

The leader of the ‘Yes’ movement has sadly decided to end his career, due to medical reasons.

WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan gave an emotional goodbye to fans on 'Raw', Monday night, after announcing his retirement from the ring due to medical reasons. Bryan, 34, made the difficult decision to hang up his boots after suffering multiple concussions throughout his wrestling career.

Bryan announced his retirement on twitter Monday afternoon telling fans: ‘Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude.’

Daddy's Home Review

Good

An odd mix of sentimental family warmth and gross-out antics, this comedy doesn't have the courage of its own convictions, which means that it's not quite funny enough to keep the audience fully entertained. That said, there are just about enough laughs that hit the target, and the big-hearted humour is surprisingly endearing, with larger themes that resonate even when the filmmakers get bogged down in the strained rude jokes.

Will Ferrell plays Brad, a guy who can't have kids but has always wanted to be a dad. So when he marries Sarah (Linda Cardellini), he enthusiastically dives into the stepdad role with her children (Owen Vaccaro and Scarlett Estevez). Then just as they're finally warming to him, their biological father Dusty (Mark Walhberg) turns up, clearly determined to win his family back. What follows is a battle between a too-nice dork and a super-cool biker, competing for the affections of both Sarah and the kids. Brad gets some terrible advice from his boss (Thomas Haden Church), while Dusty recruits a handyman (Hannibal Buress) to back his side.

There's plenty of potential in this premise, but the filmmakers refuse to make the decision about who the film is aimed at. It's too vulgar to be family entertainment, but it's not edgy enough to properly appeal to adults. So it sits there genially, occasionally sparking a burst of laughter or a knowing smile. But the plot never makes any sense, mainly because to make it work the filmmakers portray Brad as a complete and utter loser until the moment the movie needs him to be the good guy. All of which is painfully predictable, complete with shamelessly sappy moralising. Thankfully, the cast can play these kinds of characters effortlessly, and both Ferrell and Walhberg add details that keep the audience engaged.

Sisters Review

Good

From their inspired pairing on Saturday Night Live and their hysterical 2008 comedy Baby Mama to their riotous hosting of the Golden Globes, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are one of the funniest double-acts in recent memory. So even if they make a film as limp as this one, it's still packed with plenty of laughs. With a simplistic premise and obvious gags, the film isn't nearly as clever as they are. But they make it watchable.

As the title suggests, they play siblings: Kate (Fey) is a single mother with no job and nowhere to live, while Maura (Poehler) has never quite recovered from her divorce. Then their parents (Dianne Wiest and James Brolin) announce that they're selling the family home in Orlando, so Kate and Maura return to clean out their childhood bedrooms. And they're inspired to throw one last epic house party, inviting all of their old high school friends (including John Leguizamo), their school arch-nemesis (Maya Rudolph), a beefy drug dealer (John Cena) and a cute new neighbour (Ike Barinholtz).

Unsurprisingly, once the alcohol starts flowing, things get way out of hand.

The former champ will host the new series which is titled ‘American Grit’.

Network Fox has announced a new military-inspired reality series, hosted by WWE superstar John Cena. Titled 'American Grit', it will follow ’16 of the country's toughest men and women as they're split into four teams and work together to face a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges’, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

John Cena will host ‘American Grit’ on Fox.

The pro-wrester will lead an elite group of mentors from the top branches of the U.S. Air Forces who will aid the contestants and push these recruits to the brink. The group of mentors will be known as "The Cadre," and includes Act of Valor actor and U.S. Navy Seals trainer Rorke Denver, Purple Heart recipient Noah Galloway, U.S. Marines sergeant Tawanda "Tee" Hanible and U.S. Army sniper and best-selling author of The Reaper, Nick Irving.

The former ‘Daily Show’ host had got involved in Cena’s match at SummerSlam on Sunday.

John Cena came face to face with Jon Stewart, the man who cost him his US title at SummerSlam, on Monday night’s edition of WWE Raw and let’s just say ‘The Daily Show’ host came off on the losing end. The 52 year old had unexpectedly decided to get involved in Cena’s match during Sunday’s SummerSlam event, delivering a chair to the gut of the WWE Superstar.

Jon Stewart got slammed by John Cena on Monday night.

Stewart had attempted to explain his actions to the Brooklyn crowd, saying he attacked Cena because he didn't want to see him equal Ric Fliar’s 16 title reigns. Cena, as the US champ, was competing in a title vs tile match with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and left Sunday’s event empty handed.

Jon Stewart’s first gig since leaving ‘The Daily Show’ earlier this month was as the host of WWE SummerSlam on Sunday.

Former host of ‘The Daily Show’ Jon Stewart made quite the impact during his first big gig since leaving the Comedy Central series, when he got involved in the WWE World Heavyweight Title match between John Cena and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam on Sunday. Stewart, who was hosting the event, shockingly attacked Cena with a chair during the match, causing his former nemesis Rollins to pick up the win.

Eight year old Rocco was surprised by the WWE US champ on Thursday’s edition of the ‘Today Show’.

WWE superstar John Cena has granted his 500th Make-a-Wish, becoming the first celebrity to hit the milestone. The pro wrestler surprised 8 year old fan Rocco Lanzer, who is battling leukaemia, on Thursday’s edition of the 'Today Show' presenting him with gifts and ringside seats to Monday night’s edition of Raw.

John Cena has granted his 500th Make-a-Wish.

“No other person, celebrity or otherwise, has granted more wishes than he has,” Make-A-Wish spokesman Josh deBerge said in an interview on Friday. “Not only has he granted more wishes than anyone else, John repeatedly grants amazing wishes every time he meets a wish kid.”

Trainwreck Review

Good

Amy Schumer makes her big screen debut with a script that feels like a much-extended sketch from her TV series. It's hilariously observant and refreshingly grown-up about sex, but the plot falls back on the usual cliches. Even with some clever twists and turns, the structure is oddly predictable. But the biggest surprise is that Schumer and director Judd Apatow ultimately cave in and take a traditional approach to romance.

As she does on her show, Schumer plays a sexually frank woman called Amy. Taught by her father (Colin Quinn) to distrust monogamy, she has indulged in a commitment-free life, rarely seeing a man more than once. And her one repeat male partner (John Cena) is a rather too self-obsessed bodybuilder. Then her boss, blithely demanding magazine editor Diana (Tilda Swinton), assigns her to interview Aaron (Bill Hader), a doctor who specialises in sports injuries. Amy can't help but seduce him; it's what she does! But in the process she realises that she actually quite likes him. This idea so rattles her that she sabotages her close relationship with her sister Kim (Brie Larson), who is expecting a child with husband Tom (Mike Birbiglia).

Schumer has impeccable comic timing, and she's hilarious all the way through this film, playing on her character's riotous way of being shockingly honest at all the wrong times. In other words, the character is entertaining but never very likeable because of the thoughtless things she does and says. So our sympathies lie with Hader, who gives an unusually layered turn as a smart, sensitive and very funny guy who just might be too good for Amy. Other characters are either here to provide emotion (Larson and Quinn) or to shamelessly steal scenes (Swinton). And Apatow brings in a usual stream of big-name cameos, including Daniel Radcliffe and Marisa Tomei in a clever pastiche of a New York indie movie.

Nicknamed ‘Hot Rod’ Piper was a key player in the early days of WrestleMania.

The pro wrestling world is mourning the loss of one of its biggest stars, ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper who has died aged 61. Piper’s death was announced on Friday by TMZ who reported the wrestling legend had died from cardiac arrest in his sleep at his home in Hollywood on Thursday night.

Wrestling icon Roddy Piper has died aged 61.

Born Roderick Toombs, Piper hailed from Canada, but spent his wrestling career playing up his Scottish heritage, wearing a kilt to the ring and being billed as from Glasgow, Scotland. Piper’s pro wrestling career began in the early 1970s where he worked for organisations including the AWA and the NWA.

Sisters Trailer

Maura and Jane have a lot of differences; Maura has a high-flying job at a hospital, though is recovering from a divorce and a little nervous when it comes to meeting other men, while Jane is, well, not. They're nonetheless the best sisters you could imagine and always bring out the best in each other. However, when they're parents call them back to their childhood home, they discover that it's been sold and they have to clean out the room they had as girls. Going through their old stuff brings back a lot of memories though, and Jane decides to encourage Maura to throw a huge neighborhood party before they have to leave. It's a time where they can re-connect to their teenage selves, hook up with some cute guys and get totally drunk. This is going to be messy.

After Rollins crashed ‘The Daily Show’ last week, the comedian returned the favour on Monday night.

‘The Daily Show’s’ Jon Stewart certainly found an interesting way to even the odds last night, when he came face to face with his nemesis, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins, during Monday’s edition of 'Raw'. The late night host, who’s been embroiled in a feud with Rollins for the past few weeks, ‘went low’ on the wrestler, after things turned ugly during a sit down segment between the two.

‘The Daily Show’s’ departing host Jon Stewart got the shock of his life on Thursday evening, when his regular ‘moment of zen’ segment was interrupted by WWE wrestler Seth Rollins. Rollins gatecrashed the long running Comedy Central talk show as part of the latest chapter in the growing rivalry between the wrestler and the late night funnymant.

It all started earlier this month when Rollins called out ‘The Daily Show’ host during a promo on WWE’s Monday Night Raw. Rollins, who calls himself the future of the WWE, told the audience during the February 9th edition of 'Raw' he was now untouchable and could do anything, from getting elected President of the United States to taking over as host of ‘The Daily Show’ to “make that thing actually watchable.”

Amy enjoys her life in the big city with her comfortable apartment, wacky friends and driven job as a reporter for a men's magazine. As a young girl, her parents sadly divorced, and her father wasted no time in drumming into her that a lifelong partnership with just one person left much to be desired. So she's certainly taking her father's words literally and seems to enjoy the company of a different man every night (though never the full night); it's a life that she has no plans to change any time soon. However, something shifts in her consciousness when she meets sports doctor Aaron Connors on whom she's been commissioned to write an article. The pair hit it off right away, but after their first night together, Amy's left wondering if ending it there is really the best thing to do. It feels weird to carry on seeing someone after she's slept with them, but at the same time, she can't remember the last time she had so much fun.

The WWE Network will at last become reality at the end of next month, WWE CEO Vince Mcmahon announced this week in Las Vegas. The head and founder of the WWE Corporation was joined on stage by former and current wrestlers John Cena, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Triple H when details regarding the network were announced during CES 2014 on Wednesday, 8 Januar.

Darren Young came out as gay this week.

The TMZ guy probably couldn't believe his luck. Sent to hassle some minor celebrities at LAX airport, this guy ambled up to WWE superstar Darren Young at the baggage reclaim to ask him about gay wrestlers.

Young was asked whether he thought a gay wrestler could succeed in the WWE, though he could never have imagined the response.

"Absolutely. Look at me. I'm a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I'll tell you right now, I'm gay. And I'm happy. I'm very happy," laughed Young.

Not only did Dwayne Johnson lose his WWE title to John Cena, he was left requiring emergency surgery!

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock was unable to make the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Pain & Gain on Monday, after receiving an emergency operation for three hernial tears. The actor and wrestler is doing fine now after a successful operation, though it's unlikely he will return to the promotional rounds for Michael Bay's movie, also starring Mark Wahlberg.

"Surgery a success! Dr repaired 3 hernial tears (fun pain). Superman is on the mend.. #WeFallWeRise," Johnso tweeted on Tuesday with a photo of himself in a hospital bed, flexing in a Superman T-shirt. His publicist Alan Nierob told the Associated Press that he is now recovering at home.

The injury occurred when Johnson wrestled John Cena at Wrestlemania 29 on April 7, losing his championship title. "In the middle of last night's Wrestlemania match I tore my abdomen & abductor muscles off the bone. Just part of the job," he wrote April 8, adding, "But as we know... It's all about #JustBringIt. WWE Universe, THANK YOU for all the love & well wishes. Means everything to me. #LeaveItAllInTheRing."
