An overzealous fan arrested at John Cusack's Los Angeles home on Tuesday (03Sep13) has been charged with stalking and harassing the movie star.

Elizabeth Pahlke has been hit with felony counts of stalking with a restraining order and attempted burglary.

The 45 year old was held by cops after she was allegedly caught trying to break into the actor's Malibu property by climbing through a window and scaling a fence.

According to Tmz.com, prosecutors are demanding her bail be raised from $150,000 (£100,000) to $200,000 (£133,000).

Pahlke faces four years and eight months behind bars if convicted.
