Cult singer/songwriter John Grant is considering abandoning his native America to set up home in Moscow - so he can perfect his language skills.
The former The Czars frontman studied to become a Russian interpreter in Germany at the beginning of the 1990s but had to give up life in Europe and head home when his mother fell ill.
Now, he'd like to continue with his studies: "Mostly I wanna be there for the language. I've studied Russian for over 20 years and I have a certificate in interpreting and, in order for me to keep my skills at a high level, I think it would be great to live there for a while.
"I speak German; I lived in Germany for six years but I never got to spend any time in Russia, so I'd sorta like to do that."
