Emily Blunt's Struggle With Stutter

Emily Blunt John Krasinski Samuel L Jackson

Emily Blunt's stutter was so bad, she ''could never say [her] own name''.

The 36-year-old actress' speech impediment was ''ingrained'' in her by the age of 12 and she soon realised that ''pressurised'' situations caused her the most problems.

She said: ''School was interesting because there were certain things I couldn't do and wanted to, like read out my poem in class. I would never want to do that. I would hate it if the teacher called on me to answer something ... I didn't love calling my friends. I could never say my own name if someone said, 'What's your name?' Because you can't substitute a word out, which is what we tend to do to find a better flow. You substitute another word that's easier, and you can't substitute your name.

Happy Friday The 13th: Thirteen Best Horror Flicks Of The Last Five Years

John Krasinski Patrick Stewart Jordan Peele

It's Friday the 13th and that means it's the perfect night (after Halloween) to indulge in a horror fest of epic proportions. The film genre has made quite some progress in the last five years, so it's time to put your classic Jason Voorhees movies away and explore what the current horror universe has to offer.

Get Out (2017)

1. Get Out (2017) - By far one of the greatest psychological horrors ever released. It's a flawless balance of serious racial themes and a parodical look at 'positive' discrimination as an African-American played by Daniel Kaluuya gets caught up in a cult of white body-snatchers. Well deserving of Jordan Peele's Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

London Customs Agent "Couldn't Believe" John Krasinski Is Married To Emily Blunt

John Krasinski Emily Blunt

When talking about his wife Emily Blunt in the past, John Krasinski has always been very much aware that he’s punching above his weight. However, it definitely registered with him when he had an unpleasant encounter with a British customs agent recently.

The former ‘The Office US’ alumnus, 38, has been married to English actress Blunt for nearly eight years, and they have two daughters together. Stopping by ‘The Tonight Show’ on Tuesday night (April 3rd), the star told host Jimmy Fallon about the time he visited his wife on the set of Mary Poppins Returns in Britain a few months ago.

“I married up, and don’t I know it,” Krasinski quipped, after the audience had cheered loudly after Fallon had mentioned Blunt’s name. “They don’t have to tell me; the customs agent in London did.”

John Krasinski Would Love Fantastic Four Role In Marvel Film

John Krasinski

John Krasinski may be gearing up for the release of his new movie 'A Quiet Place', on which he directed and co-starred alongside his wife Emily Blunt, but that hasn't stopped the star from chatting about the future. In fact, he's even recently mentioned that he'd love to join the world of films released by Marvel Studios in the near future if given the opportunity.

Following the recent deal between 21st Century Fox and Disney, which would see the Marvel characters under Fox's control eventually be able to move on over to Disney and potentially join their Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's likely a lot of behind-the-scenes chatter about which of the comic book characters should first make the jump. Frontrunners will of course include the members of the Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing are the four members of the crimefighting squad, and we've seen various iterations of the group on the big screen throughout the years. 2015's 'Fantastic Four' movie failed to make waves, however, so we imagine the next time we see them in cinemas will be yet again another reboot. Could we see Krasinski as a part of that?

The 38-year-old played paper salesman Jim Halpert on the American version of the show which ran from 2005 to 2013. But despite the fact that one of the best things about the show was his relationship with receptionist Pam Beesly, he says he hasn't had a call from NBC asking him to return for a reboot.

"I've seen all the Disneynature movies and I find them so incredibly emotional. I find myself bonding to these characters unbelievably, so I was thrilled. But then I got really nervous, because the people who've done it before me are Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, John C. Reilly - people who are pretty good at what they do!"
