The pair, who've been dating since 2007, became engaged two years ago whilst holidaying in the Maldives and have been busily planning their big day ever since. "In my mind it's just like an explosion of ideas, but on paper it is just absolutely nothing," model Teigen told E! News, adding "I'll tell you this: the ceremony will be short."

The 27 year-old also revealed how she wanted to keep it simple and elegant when it came to her wedding get-up so she wouldn't receive the wrong kind of spotlight, explaining that she didn't "want anything too satiny, shiny or crazy. I'm not going to be that ball gown girl at all. I don't want to shock the guy coming down the aisle. I just want to be myself."

Their Romantic Ceremony Had A Few Famous Names Present.

Apparently, Joan Rivers asked Teigen whether she'd be wearing the customary expensive, frilly knickers under her white dress and received a firm response of "No way!" Though Teigen said she didn't want to go over the top with her outfit, this didn't stop her from wearing three lavish gowns during the ceremony and celebrations, including a gigantic Vera Wang puffball gown for the official bit, a fitted mermaid dress for the couple's reception and a red strapless number for the evening hoedown.
