Fact: Veteran musician Brian Eno is set to give the annual John Peel Lecture on the state of the music industry and modern culture on 27 September (15). The speech will take place during the Radio Festival at the British Library in London and will be broadcast on the BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 4 stations.
Fact: Legendary British broadcaster John Peel's son, TOM RAVENSCROFT, will replace Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson as the host of a Friday night show on digital station BBC 6. Peel was BBC Radio 1's longest-serving DJ at the time of his death in 2004.
