Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are looking to buy a property in London.

The 'Lone Ranger' actor and his fiancee reportedly enjoyed spending time together in the UK last year so much that they've decided to purchase a weekend retreat in the English city.

Amber's father David is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: ''I think they will have at least a weekend retreat in England soon, around London as they both love it so much - and I enjoy visiting.

''Last September they were both in England and they were in a hotel. Then they rented something on the edge of London.

''They love it, I'm sure they will buy something there.''

The couple - who met while filming 2011 film 'The Rum Diary'- were in London for the making of Johnny's forthcoming movie 'Mortdecai', but it's unlikely they will be able to spend as much time in the UK this year as he is scheduled to travel to Puerto Rico in the coming months to begin work on the next 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie.

It was reported recently that Amber had been spending time with Johnny's children Lily-Rose, 14, and 12-year-old son Jack from his fourteen year-long relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

A source said: ''Johnny has gotten in the habit of setting up remote weekend getaways with Amber and the kids, and usually he will lease a helicopter and have them all ferried to a remote location or resort in Southern California.''
