Johnny Galecki

Johnny Galecki was faced with some seriously bad news earlier this week when his beloved ranch in California caught fire and burnt down. Fortunately, he wasn't on the property at the time and was therefore unharmed, but he is just thankful everybody else in surrounding areas were unharmed.

It's been 13 years since the horror cycle of the legend of Samara was apparently broken, but it seems she has not killed her last victim yet. When Holt decides to investigate the curse (which has now faded into urban legend), he is rescued by his girlfriend Julia who watches the fatal tape instead of him online, giving herself seven days to live. Those seven days prove to be a terror-filled nightmare; she is haunted by supernatural forces and her telephone burns a Braille message into her palm. She and Holt decide to investigate deeper into the mystery and try to find a way to end the curse before it's too late. They visit a blind man named Burke who tells them that the message on her hand reads 'rebirth', and informs them that they have opened a door which has endangered everyone. Because one thing that nobody new about the legendary videotape was that there was actually a movie within the movie.

Jim Parsons Kaley Cuoco Johnny Galecki

The Big Bang Theory Season 8 is back on track after the folks at Warner Bros TV picked up the toys from the boardroom floor and placed them carefully back in Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki’s respective prams.

Big Bang TheoryThe core Big Bang cast

The trio has been asking for ‘Friends money’, something akin to what the gang were getting per episode for the last two seasons of the legendary sitcom, anyway. And while, to many sensible humans that seems like an incredibly skewed and selfish outlook on life, they are attracting ‘Friends viewing figures’, so it was only a matter of time before they were given what they were demanding.

Sara Gilbert Linda Perry Johnny Galecki

Actress Sara Gilbert and singer-songwriter Linda Perry have gotten married. The couple of three years finally tied the knot on Sunday after getting engaged last April, according to Mail Online. The ceremony reportedly took place in front of close friends and family at a location overlooking the ocean. Describing the event as "magical," Aisha Tyler, Gilbert's The Talk co-host, spoke about the couple's big day saying that it "was the most beautiful ceremony at sunset overlooking the ocean."

Tyler didn't want to spoilt things for Sara when she returns to the show so didn't offer any more details of the special day. According to Gilbert, Perry planned a romantic proposal with a secret backing band that emerged when the couple were enjoying a picnic in the park. "We go to a park, and we have food and we're eating it, it's really sweet and there's this guy sitting playing guitar, like a street musician, and he starts playing this song that we love," Gilbert recalled. "I'm like, 'Oh, that's so weird, this is so magical and amazing.'"

The Big Bang Theory, which debuted back in 2007 and has been an exponentially rising in popularity ever since, will be on TV screens for another 3 seasons following CBS’s order. This will take the sitcom into double figures with a total of 10 series – can it go even further?

The Ladies Of 'The Big Bang Theory' Band Together To Demand Higher Paychecks

Mayim Bialik Melissa Rauch Jim Parsons Johnny Galecki

Two of the ladies of The Big Bang Theory cast - Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch - have reportedly banded together and earned themselves a significant pay increase for the show’s upcoming season. After a highly rated previous season and given the kind of script they’ve had to work on, it sounds like a well deserved raise, although the exact amount has not been announced by Deadline, who originally reported the story.

Jim Parsons, Teen Choice Awards
Parsons heads up a cast of extremely well paid actors.

However, according to CNN, both actresses new salaries are somewhere in the neighborhood of $60,000 per episode, which is more than double their current salaries of $20,000 - $30,000 per episode. That’s not the end of the pay raises though – by the end of their contracts, both Bialik and Rauch are expected to earn about $100,000 per episode.

Sara Gilbert Reveals That Her Relationship With Johnny Galecki Helped Her Understand Sexuality

Sara Gilbert Johnny Galecki Julie Chen

Sara Gilbert's sexuality hasn't been a secret since she publicly came out of the closet in 2010, with many aware of the fact that she is a lesbian long before her public announcement. However the journey she took to get to where she is as a confident, openly gay woman was a long and difficult one to undertake, one that was made much easier thanks to her relationship with actor Johnny Galecki.

Sara Gilbert
Gilbert said that her relationship with Galecki helped her come to terms with her sexuality

Gilbert and Galecki began seeing each other when he joined the cast of Roseanne in the early 1990's. Gilbert revealed on Thursday's (12 Sept.) show that when the pair began seeing each other, things seemed to be going well but she would be left with an overwhelming sense of depression whenever the two got intimate. Through Galecki's help she gradually became aware of what her feelings meant and slowly began to come to terms with her sexuality. Her revelation came one day after The Talk co-host Julie Chen admitted that she had plastic surgery to make her eyes wider prior to finding national fame.

Sara Gilbert and John Galecki were once an item together for a number of weeks, beginning when Galecki first began appearing on the hit sitcom Roseanne along side Gilbert during it's fourth season in 1992. The two dated for a number of weeks and things seemed to be normal enough for the young aspiring actors, however their time dating didn't end in the most conventional way as it helped Gilbert come to terms with something she had never really understood; her sexuality.

Gilbert had long struggled to understand her sexuality, until she met Johnny

During Thursday, 12 September's edition of The Talk, the show that Gilbert created herself and serves as executive producer on, she explained how she and Galecki first got all googley eyed with each other on set and eventually began dating, at which point things got confusing for her.

CBGB Trailer

In 1973, New York nightclub CBGB opened as a venue for Country, BlueGrass and Blues acts led by music entrepreneur Hilly Kristal. However, it soon became clear that that wasn't the way the music scene was going in the city and he soon began to book new rock and punk bands - excluding all cover and tribute bands - to play regular shows there which helped raise the profile of several musical pioneers including Talking Heads, Blondie, The Ramones and the Patti Smith Group. It wasn't the easiest ride for Kristal, however, who suffered many money troubles due to his vision and ambition for the bands that he showcased, as well as much scrutiny over the general poor health and safety of the venue. Nonetheless (and despite its closure in 2006), it will always been known as the kick off point for so many 70s and 80s bands.

Randall Miller ('Nobel Son', 'Bottle Shock', 'Houseguest') directs this music drama alongside his frequent writing partner Jody Savin as it follows the highs and lows of Hilly Kristal's life and ambition to give innovative local bands a chance at success. The movie will premiere at the CBGB Festival over its October 10th-13th weekend; not far off the anniversary of its 2006 official closure.

The Big Bang Theory's writers and producer took to Comic-Con this weekend not only to interact with fans but to take in the unique celebration of pop culture for themselves. Melissa Rauch, AKA Big Bang's Bernadette, acted as moderator; keeping the conversation tethered and making sure the excited panel members didn't blast off into space. However, before the panel took to their seats, a famous professor had a few words to say.

Stephen Hawking, via a video message, greeted Comic-Con fans against a backdrop of The Big Bang Theory logos and a promo poster for the upcoming film about his life, Hawking. The 71 year-old chair-bound professor recited The Big Bang Theory's theme song in his distinctive computerised voice after he shared some of his favourite pastimes: "When I'm not playing Words With Friends with Sheldon, I like to think about the universe." This isn't the first time Professor Hawking has shown himself to be a fan of the show - season five saw engineer Howard Wolowitz selected to help maintain the world-renowned lecturer on a visit to the university in an episode entitled 'The Hawking Excitation.'

Hit CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory brushed off comedy contendersat the 3rd annual Critics' Choice TV Awards winning 'Best Comedy Show', 'Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy Show' (for Kaley Cuoco) and 'Best Supporting Actor In A Comedy Show' (for Simon Helberg).

Cuoco plays Penny - their ditzy waitress neighbour who moves in in the first episode and becomes romantically involved with Leonard (Johnny Galecki), who is the most socially adept of the nerdy friendship group. Helberg plays Howard - a self-professed 'ladies man' who lives with his overbearing Jewish mother until his wife Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) forces him to move out.

Big Bang Theory Finalale Ends Season 6 In Underwhelming Style: The Bon Voyage Reaction Recap

Jim Parsons Kaley Cuoco Mayim Bialik Chuck Lorre Johnny Galecki Kunal Nayyar Simon Helberg Melissa Rauch

Thursday (May 16) night's episode of the Big Bang Theory ushered out the latest series of the sitcom in thoroughly underwhelming fashion, ending the sixth season of the show in the same kind of style that has existed throughout the show's current run.

This series ended, as the show so often does when it comes to wrapping up a series, with question marks hovering above Penny and Leonard's relationship. Leonard had been given the opportunity of a lifetime to work with with Stephen Hawking, unfortunately this will mean he has to spend four months on a boat in the middle of the North Sea. As Sheldon noted, Leonard and Penny have never been better and four months apart may change things for the worse. Then again Sheldon doesn't like to be alone, does he, so he would come up with a dilema to potentially keep his roommate and best friend in Pasadena.

Still, this was a valid point by Sheldon, but by the end of the episode Leonard and Penny seemed to have come to an agreement without Sheldon's help. Penny promises Leonard that regardless of the time spent apart their relationship won't suffer, sending him off with a heartfelt "I love you" and a kiss goodbye.

Vanilla Sky Review

Good
The single best scene in Vanilla Sky, and maybe in the entire year of cinema, takes place right at the beginning of this film. On the surface it's not anything that special, just a scene of Tom Cruise, running panicked through Times Square in New York City. Only Times Square is completely devoid of traffic or pedestrians. As is every street we can see down. New York, effectively, is empty. Whether this was done legitimately or with digital effects (or a combination of both), I don't know. And I couldn't tell, either. It's a powerful shot to launch what should have been a powerful movie.

Sadly, it's a bit downhill from there. While Vanilla Sky is a solid effort, it's unfortunately short of genius. The very project is a bit curious. Is Cameron Crowe, the permanent teenager responsible for perfectly good yet light-as-a-feather comedies like Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, up to the challenge of remaking a Spanish psychodrama? Crowe goes through the motions, and from time to time he proves that he can handle heavier material, but Vanilla Sky is too murky to be much more than a holiday distraction -- far from the cult classic that the original Abre los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) has become.
