Controversial French movie Blue is the Warmest Colour - the Palme d'Or winner at the Cannes Film Festival - earned an impressive $101,000 from just four screens. The movie's director Abdellatif Kechiche and lead actress Léa Seydoux are currently in the middle of a very public feud over the former's apparent brutal filming methods.

Bad Grandpa will have to hold off new releases Ender's Game, Diana, Dallas Buyers Club and Last Vegas to remain at No.1 after the coming weekend.
