Prince William has kicked off what is sure to be a flourishing career in music by forming a band with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift. Well, sort of: the Prince and Taylor joined Jon Bon Jovi onstage during the Winter Whites charity gala, hosted by the Duke of Cambridge at Kensington Palace, to raise money for homeless charity Centrepoint.

The pair leapt up on to the festive stage as Bon Jovi started playing an acoustic version of his band's mega-hit 'Livin On A Prayer.' Taylor began to elegantly sway in time to the music whilst William adjusted his bow tie and cuffs in a James Bond style before the big chorus. Taylor and Wills leant into the microphone - the Prince tentative at first - before belting out the "Woooahh livin' on a prayer" line from the chorus.

Is Jon Bon Jovi Eying Up A Bid For The Buffalo Bills?

Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is apparently determined to own a stake in a NFL franchise and with the Buffalo Bills on the verge of being in an ownership crisis, he might just be the guy to step in with a controlling bid for the club. The main concern with Bills fans is the potential move to Toronto, and Bon Jovi is believed to be in the know with what is going on behind the scenes, and has been familiarising himself with a move to the Canadian city himself.

Jon Bon Jovi
Jon has a keen interest in owning a NFL franchise

According to various sources close to the situation, speaking with CBS Sport, Bon Jovi has been a familiar face around Toronto as he gets to know politicians and power brokers who are working with the proposed move, hoping to capitalise on the rebranding himself. During the recent Bon Jovi tour, an extra date was added in the roster for Toronto and there was a considerable amount of time set apart during the tour so that Jon could go over some of the details himself and work on his business plan. He has apparently been meeting with NFL owners and general managers on the regular, seeking their words of wisdom and he looks determined to secure a controlling stake in a NFL franchise. Whilst it remains to be seen whether JBJ has the immense wealth necessary to finance a NFL team has yet to be seen, but given his determination towards achieving this goal, it looks fairly likely that he does.

Richie Sambora Given The Boot From Bon Jovi Tour Because Of Wages

Richie Sambora Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

The long-serving guitarist of Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, has been fired from the group's current tour in what appears to be a dispute over money. As confirmed by Rumor Fix earlier this week (21 August), the guitarist and frontman of Bon Jovi, Jon Bon Jovi, came to blows over Sambora's earnings over the course of the tour, with Sambora being replace by the much more affordable Phillip 'Phil X' Xenidis.

Richie Sambora
Sambora was apparently fired for earning too much

According to RF, Sambora had been earning as much as $2,000,000 a month from touring with the band; an amount that had caused rifts in the backstage area between the rest of the group. There may be more to it, but as far as we know, it was the money that was right at the root of the dispute and ultimately led to Sambora's dismissal. In addition to the $2 mil he was making a month, the 30+ years-serving guitarist for Bon Jovi was also making 20% of earning from each live show, whilst Phil X will only receive $10,000 a month (which really can't be complained about considering he now gets to perform with one of rock's most enduring acts for a living).

Bon Jovi Guitarist Richie Sambora Booted Off Tour, For Earning Too Much

Bon Jovi Richie Sambora Jon Bon Jovi

Richie Sombora, Bon Jovi's touring guitarist, has been fired from the band's tour over money issues. The band aren't exactly scraping around for money but it has reportedly been decided that Sambora, who has toured with Jon Bon Jovi for 30 years, earns too much and this may have caused a rift within the rock band.

Richie Sambora
The Band Said 'Have A Nice Day' To Richie Sambora.

Richie was making $2 million a month from the band, according to RumorFix, and took 20% of the profits after each show. He has been replaced by Canadian guitarist, Phil "X" Xenedis who has filled in for Sambora in the past when he was in rehab. After Richie dropped out of the tour this year due to "personal issues," Phil X stepped up for some Bon Jovi axe action. The benefit of having Phil X on tour is that his salary is just $10,000 a month - a 200th of what Richie was on before he left, meaning there's a lot more cash around to be gleaned by rockers Jon, David and Tico.

Jon Bon Jovi To Justin Bieber: Don't Be An A**hole

Justin Bieber Jon Bon Jovi

Like a lot of people in the music industry lately, Jon Bon Jovi had some words of wisdom for Justin Bieber: get your act together. The rocker, who has spent three decades on stage with his band Bon Jovi, has certainly learned a thing or two about the business and about developing a work ethic. "Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new," the 51-year-old Bon Jovi told the London Evening Standard during a tour stop in Vienna on the European leg of Bon Jovi's Because We Can tour.

Obviously, Bon Jovi knows how to stay in the game.

The comment came after he was asked about Bieber turning up two hours late for a March concert at London's O2 Arena. But Bon Jovi didn’t stop there: "They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives—or in that kid's case, 80 minutes of their lives."

Bon Jovi Lets Rip On Justin Bieber – “Go To F***in’ Work”

Jon Bon Jovi Justin Bieber

It was just a matter of time before someone had a go at Justin Bieber; the petulant teenage star has been infuriating people with his antics for the past few months now. Bon Jovi decided to say what a lot of people were thinking with his rant.

Bon Jovi knows how to work the crowd, Bieber just does weird hand points, two hours late

“Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new,” the legendary rocker told London’s Evening Standard. “They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives — or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.” Jovi is, of course, referring to Bieber’s recent tardiness. He took to the stage two hours late on Monday night, and has a history for nonchalance when it comes to timekeeping. “Do it once, you can be forgiven,” explains Bon Jovi, who knows a thing or two about live performance. “Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an a**hole. Go to f***in’ work!”

Jon Bon Jovi Talks About The Temptation To Cheat On His Wife

Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has admitted that there is always the ''temptation'' to cheat on his wife, Dorothea. The couple have four children together - Stephanie, 19, Jesse James, 18, Jacob, 11, and Romeo, nine - yet Dorothea insists that Bon Jovi hasn't been a ''perfect'' husband over the past 24 year, however he has been faithful to her.

Bon Jovi explains: ''I have a wife who I adore, without her the cards would crumble. Every day there's temptation. I don't go looking for it either. Am I perfect? No. But do I aspire to finding a mistress somewhere? I really don't.'' Last November, Bon Jovi's eldest daughter, Stephanie, was discovered in her university dorm after having passed out from a heroin overdose. Bon Jovi attributes the problem to the ''pressure'' her generation is under.

Bon Jovi To Go On Tour Without Richie Sambora

Richie Sambora Jon Bon Jovi

We’re gonna go out on a limb and guess that you weren’t expecting to read about Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora today. The band has popped up in news feeds for the first time in a while, but sadly, it's not good news for them.

After years of internal tension, lead guitarist Richie Sambora has announced that he is quitting the band, right before their upcoming world tour. Sambora’s reps have cited “personal issues”, but fret not, apparently it has nothing to do with substance abuse. Instead, Richie’s split is due to a conflict with frontman Jon Bon Jovi. According to a source for TMZ, the two have been butting heads for years, and the conflict has just erupted now. "It's a classic Jagger/Richards blowup," the source also comments.

There is speculation about the root of the problem. Reportedly, part of it is that Bon Jovi constantly belittles Sambora, but there’s an even bigger issue between the two – money. Wouldn’t you know it.

Personal Issues: Bon Jovi Guitarist Richie Sambora Pulls Out Of Tour

Bon Jovi Jon Bon Jovi Richie Sambora

Bon Jovi fans will no doubt have been waiting with heightened anticipation for the band to embark upon their world tour. They will, of course, have been eagerly awaiting news of what songs the band will play from their back catalogue, what kind of shape they’ll be in, musically, even what the band will be wearing and what merchandise they’ll have on sale. One thing they will not have been expecting to be greeted by the sight of a Bon Jovi with a missing Richie Sambora.

The band have issued a very brief statement on their website however, revealing that Sambora will not be performing on “this upcoming leg” of the tour. They did not detail exactly which dates will see the guitarist absent from the line-up and nor were the personal issues expanded on. In the past, LA Times reports, Sambora has been ‘side-lined’ from the band because of issues that he’s had in the past, including painkiller addiction and DUI arrests. Last year, Sambora released his own album Aftermath of the Lowdown.

At last night’s show in Calgary (April 2, 2013), the band’s singer Jon Bon Jovi told the crowd “I had two choices - pack up and go home or give you everything I got .... Richie Sambora won't be performing for a while. If there's ever a night I need you, it's tonight, Calgary!"

Jon Bon Jovi On Daughter's Overdose: We'll Get Through This Tragedy

Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi has broken his silence on his daughter Stephanie's recent heroin overdose and subsequent arrest. The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital in New York last week, with police finding a small amount of heroin and marijuana in her dorm room.

In a new interview with Fox 11's Courtney Friel, Bon Jovi talked for the first time about the incident, saying, "What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's a great way to make a living. And then life goes on. Things happen." He added, "This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. And people's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good."

Stephanie is the eldest of four children the singer has with wife Dorothea Hurley. She was initially ordered to appear in court for the drug possession, though police took a liberal stance on the matter and opted to drop the charges, citing a new governmental scheme that encourages people to call for help immediately in the result of a drug overdose.

"We'll Get Through It" - Jon Bon Jovi Opens Up About Daughter's Overdose

Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi has spoken candidly about his teenage daughter’s recent heroin overdose, saying that he is grateful for he support that has been offered to his family and assured everyone that they’ll “get through it.” 19 year-old Stephanie Bongiovi is reported to have overdosed on heroin last week in her college dorm room at Hamilton College, Clinton, New York. She was subsequently arrested but was released without charge, thanks to a New York law that prevents someone from being prosecuted for possession of drugs, if they have overdosed.

In an interview with Fox 11’s Courtney Friel, Bon Jovi spoke of the experience and said “This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. And people's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good.” He also explained “It’s human. What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's a great way to make a living. And then life goes on. Things happen.” Courtney then commented “it’s nice to see that celebrities are just real people with real problems.

Jon Bon Jovi recently announced that his band, Bon Jovi, would tour in 2013. They’ll be selling tickets at “recession-friendly” prices, a stark contrast to the Rolling Stones, whose 50th anniversary concert tickets were going for up to £400 in the original sale.

Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Off The Hook Thanks To New Drugs Law

Jon Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi's daughter Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, will not be prosecuted for the small amount of heroin she was in possession of before overdosing in her Hamilton College dorm room this week. Her friend, Ian Grant - who called the ambulance - has also caught the same break.

According to the New York Daily News, a new good-Samaritan drug law passed last year means those overdosing and actively looking for help cannot be punished. "People will say she got away with murder because of who she is, but this law was passed so people don't watch somebody die because they're afraid of jail," said Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara, adding, "And you don't want the person overdosing to say, 'No, don't call" Authorities said Bon Jovi's daughter would still be in trouble had she been in possession of 8 ounces of heroin, but that she was not. "It was an insignificant amount. Heroin does not weigh that much in the first place," said McNamara.

Police said on Wednesday (Nov 14) that Bongiovi, the only daughter of the multi-millionaire rocker, was unresponsive when help arrived at the Dunham Hall dorm shortly before 2am. She was rushed to hospital and later charged with misdemenor possession of heroin, misdemeanor marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. However, the latest decision means both Bongiovi and Grant are no longer required to appear before a judge on December 4, 2012.

Jon Bon Jovi Daughter's Arrested At Hamilton College, But Did She Overdose?

Jon Bon Jovi Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi's daughter Stephanie Bongiovi was arrested at Hamilton College on Wednesday (November 14, 2012) after a suspected heroin overdose. Though details are sketchy, the New York Post report that an ambulance was dispatched to the dorm of Ms Bongiovi, 19, and that cops recovered small amounts of heroin and marijuana.

The rocker's daughter was initially unresponsive when paramedics arrived, though she was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to be released after making a full recovery. Nasty business indeed, though it got worse for the family after Stephanie was booked for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree criminal possession of marijuana, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. A man found in her room, Ian Grant, was also charged with possession. Hamilton College say they're helping a police investigation and hinted that both students will face disciplinary action. "In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students.Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations, we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters." Stephanie and father Jon are understood to enjoy a close relationship, with the veteran rocker once telling Redbook magazine, "My daughter was instant-messaging one of her friends, and man, it looked like it was in code! So I ask her, 'What does that mean?' She said, 'Do you really want to know? It means: Dad looking over shoulder. Gotta go,"

Though both Stephanie and friend Ian are due to appear in front of a judge in the near future, the latter was praised by the New York State Director of Drug and Policy Alliance Gabriel Sayegh, who wrote on The Huffington Post, "unlike Ian Grant, most people don't call for help when witnessing an overdose. Why? Studies show that fear of arrest and stigma of drug use keeps people from calling 911. In short, most people don't call 911 because they're afraid of getting a ride in the back of a cop car instead of an ambulance."

Bruce Springsteen Among The Stars Shining At Hurricane Sandy Benefit

Bruce Springsteen Jon Bon Jovi Billy Joel Mary J Blige Steven Tyler Christina Aguilera

The stars came out to raise money for the reconstruction of areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy last week, and fewer seemed more committed to the cause than Bruce Springsteen, a New Jersey native who saw his home neighbourhood devastated in the storms.

Springsteen was among a host of New Jersey locals including Jon Bon Jovi and the E Street Band, whilst Long Islander Billy Joel, Bronx native Mary J. Blige, Bostonian Steven Tyler and Staten Island’s Christina Aguilera also lent a hand for the hour long televised show titled ‘Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together’. It was Springsteen who took the day though, closing the showing and singing with closed eyes and gritted teeth. "God bless New York and God bless the Jersey Shore” he called out at the end of his short performance, with it looking like he’d could’ve gone on for many many more songs if the network had allowed him to.

Other highlights of the event saw Jon Bon Jovi perform a solemn, tributary ‘Prayer’ to his home town. Many of the performances were punctuated with video segments, and footage of the wreckage that came from the storm. It has to be said, though, that despite the undoubted cost of damages, the east coast of the US got off lightly compared to the Caribbean, where 69 people lost their lives.

America is still rocked by the devastating aftermath of hurricane Sandy, and the thought that 'never would a disaster like this happen to me' seemed to resonate on the faces at the Sandy Benefit Concert on Friday (Nov. 2).

The star power drawn in was impressive, with such entertainers as Bruce Springsteen, Danny Devito and Mary J Blige each pledging their time to the good cause.

Opening the night's proceedings was Staten Island-born Christina Aguilera, who kicked things off with a powerful and stripped down rendition of her song 'Beautiful'. Relying solely on her vocals, Xtina packed a heft punch that delivered all the way home. Next up to perform was New Jersey's Jon Bon Jovi who first gave a shout-out to his hometown of Sayerville, N.J., before re-appropriating his hair-rock hit 'Livin’ On A Prayer' to suit the sombre mood in the studio.
