Jon Hamm has signed up to star in two more seasons of hit TV show Mad Men in a deal worth an estimated $250,000 (£156,000) an episode, according to a U.S. report.
The fifth series of the drama is slated to start shooting later this year (11) after months of delays caused by lengthy negotiations between studio chiefs at Lionsgate and bosses at the Amc Tv network.
The delay sparked fears among fans that the show would soon come to an end, but reports have now emerged suggesting Hamm is onboard for at least two more seasons. He will be earning a massive $250,000 (£156,000) an episode by the end of his three-year contract, according to Variety.com.
Hamm has earned a Golden Globe and three Emmy nominations for his role as suave advertising executive Don Draper in the 1960s-set show.
