When Deborah Hall (Renée Zellweger) has a dream about a poor wise man and ends up meeting him where she works at a canteen for homeless people, she knows that fate must have brought them together. Her marriage is on the rocks with her and her art dealer husband Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) living completely separate lives. She urges him to befriend this strange man, who many have branded as dangerous, because she thinks their frienship could change the lives of everyone around them. His name is Denver (Djimon Hounsou) and, of course, Ron's family and associates are doing everything they can to dissuade him from helping this good-for-nothing bum - but it isn't long before they realise that he's exactly the opposite of everything they thought. He manages to bring Deborah and Ron closer together than ever before, while teaching everybody that each and every one of us is as different as each other.

Newt inspects as many different species of Beast that he can and keeps some of the rarest ones in order to preserve them and keep them from harm's way whilst also ensuring they themselves don't cause any of the chaos they could so easily cause.

It's 1926 and the wizarding community is under threat. Whilst most muggles (No Maj's) don't have any idea that wizards and witches actually exist, a small yet powerful few are all too aware of them and their powers.

The New Salem Philanthropic Society is headed by a tough woman named Mary Lou Barebone who wants to make sure that all wizarding kind is exterminated.

Tony Nathan becomes a part of a new era of humanity in 1973 when the Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama becomes a multi-racial institution for the very first time. The move allows this remarkably gifted African-American aspiring football player to join the Woodlawn Colonels, led by an open-minded and welcoming coach named Tandy Gerelds. However, Gerelds has got his work cut out; the government may be changing to make the world a more equal place, but there's still a lot of racism throughout the city which is rife with riots. The animosity doesn't stop at the school gates and Gerelds has the task of trying to diffuse the racially motivated hostilities within his team. And so, he enlists the help of Christian revivalist Hank to bring some peace to the game and hopefully help the community to learn to love each other again.
