GLEE star Jonathan Groff is scarred for life after filming the series finale - the actor was among the castmembers injured when an energetic dance routine went awry.
The actor sings a rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody in the final episode of the first series, but the performance ended in a string of injuries after several backing dancers collided with a camera.
Groff was also left in agony when he was struck by the heel of a female dancer's shoe - and he still has a scar from where the stiletto drew blood.
But the star is relieved he wasn't as badly hurt as some of his castmates.
He says, "I was singing the Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody, dancers were flying all over the place and a girl's heel got stuck into me and drew blood. I think at that very moment of contact I reached my highest notes. I was lucky, though. Some had bruises, there was a broken limb or two, others drew blood. It was like a scene from Gladiator."
The season finale is due to air later this month (Jun10).
