Josh Brolin and Diane Lane are now officially free from one another after nine years of marriage.

TMZ reports, their divorce papers were filed on November 27th in an L.A. County Superior Court.

Lane, who initiated the divorce proceedings back in February 2012 citing 'irreconcilable differences', will not be seeking spousal support and are reportedly settling their financial arrangements outside of court.

The gossip site also reports that the 48 year-old actress wanted to get her old identity back, she was legally named Diane Lane Brolin but has since dropped 'Brolin' completely.

However, according to E!News, "It is very amicable," an insider said referring to their divorce. "It's not ugly, it's just over."

The pair married nine years ago in 2004 and they don't have any children together.

This is the second divorce for both actors as Brolin divorced from first wife, actress Alice Adair, in 1994 and Diane split from actor Christopher Lambert in the same year.

Brolin's divorce is only one part of his lifestyle that will be changed as the 45 year-old actor is attempting to give up alcohol for good.

Late last month the 'Gangster Squad' actor reportedly entered a rehab facility in Northern California last month, following a string of alcohol related incidents that have occurred recently.

A source close to the actor told Us Weekly magazine, "He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety."

Josh recently told TMZ in a video that he is "completely done" With the booze.
