Julianne Hough, the 22-year-old American singer and girlfriend of television and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, told a concert crowd on Friday (17th December 2010) that her new video has been "kinda banned" by Country Music Television, according to the Washington Post.
While performing at the Acoustic Christmas Concert in Baltimore, Hough told the crowd that her video for new single 'Is That So Wrong' has been deemed unsuitable for CMT, saying, "Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom". However, the star of new movie 'Burlesque' didn't seem overly concerned with the ban, adding, "But I don't know - I kind of liked it". In the clip, Hough is seen dancing around her apartment while taking of several items of clothes.
The video is now becoming increasingly hard to find after being removed from several sites including YouTube, however, Country Music Television has denied that the ban was because the video was too explicit. A spokesman told OnTheRedCarpet.com that the clip was removed for contractual reasons, saying, "We took it down shortly thereafter due to on-going contract negotiations with Julianne's label, Universal Music Group" 'Is That So Wrong' is taken from Hough's new album 'Wildfire'.
