floyd mayweather probably doesn't like racism very much. Floyd Mayweather Jr is also the greatest boxer on the planet. These two things will have left Justin Bieber sweating after video footage of him telling a racist joke surfaced last week. Nevertheless, Floyd - who's been friends with the Canadian pop star for years - says he still supports Bieber despite his crude racist joke.

"Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters and sons over the years," Floyd said, adding, "We all make mistakes when we are young, it's part of growing up"

"I am proud of what he's doing as a 20 year old musician and business man. #TMT"

Justin has since apologized for the joke, saying, "Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I'm grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man."

Published by The Sun, the video showed the singer hanging out with friends before asking, "Why are black people afraid of chainshaws?" Guessing the punchline, someone off camera says, "Don't even say it. Don't say it" though Bieber continues, "Run n****r, n****r, n****r, n****r, n****r."

The footage was apparently filmed as part of his documentary Never Say Never, leading up to a concert in New York in August 2010. Unsurprisingly, it didn't make the final cut.
