Justin Bieber has ended his week in London hospitalised after fainting on stage.

The 19-year-old singer collapsed while belting out his track 'Beauty and a Beat' at The O2 arena last night (07.03.13) and was rushed to hospital when he left the venue, where he was given oxygen for 20 minutes after he complained his lungs were hurting.

Justin has since posted a photograph of himself lying in a hospital bed and reassured fans he is on the mend, listening to Janis Joplin while he recovers.

In a caption accompanying the photo, he wrote: ''getting better listening to Janice Joplin (sic)''

The Canadian heartthrob also thanked his followers for their support and ''love'' after his health scare, tweeting: ''getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love (sic)''

Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, kept the audience up to date with the singer's situation and explained why the show had come to a halt.

The action was caught on video by a fan at the gig and uploaded onto YouTube.

Scooter can be seen saying: ''Justin got very light of breath, the whole show he's been complaining. He's backstage with the EMTs [emergency medical team] and the doctor.

''They're telling him they want him to go and see somebody and find out what's going on with his lungs, he's just told me that in five minutes, if it's OK with you guys, he's going to come out and finish the show.''
