Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber's fans surrounded New York's Rockefeller Center this morning (June 15, 2012) to see their idol in action. Hundreds of squealing Beliebers packed into the legendary New York venue to watch Justin Bieber perform at the free summer concert hosted by the Today show. During his set, some of the young fans "scrambled toward the star with arms stretched out, trying to grab the singing sensation's hand or even tug his pants leg," New York Daily News reported.
The young singer, who recently turned 18, arrived on stage wearing a white vest and baggy white jeans. He started his set with recent single 'Boyfriend,' during which he broke out some classic Michael Jackson-style dance moves. He also included a new version of his hit single 'Baby,' the song that propelled him to global fame and was joined onstage by rapper Big Sean for a rendition of 'As Long As You Love Me.'
According to New York Daily News, some of his fans had been camped out for days, to ensure that they got a glimpse of the young star. 16 year-old Amina Morise was the first in line, arriving at 6am on Tuesday (June 12, 2012). She told reporters "I'm here for his music. The way he talks about to 'never say never,' just the way he sings with passion. I think it's very inspiring. In an interview with MTV Bieber has said that he would give his fans 10 out of 10 for dedication and had a few words of advice for his devotees: "I would just tell them to believe in themselves, you know, in their dreams and believe in general. I think that they should just believe."
