Justin Bieber is being sued by his former neighbour. Jeff Schwartz is suing Bieber on the grounds of emotional distress. Schwartz is claiming Bieber's bodyguard addressed him using an anti-Semitic slur and Bieber was frequently rude to his wife and young daughter. He further claims Bieber's loud parties, drag races and other anti-social behaviour deep affected the Calabasas neighbourhood in which they both lived at the time.

One incident concerns the Memorial Day Weekend in 2013 when Schwartz asked Bieber to stop driving recklessly around the neighbourhood. Bieber's bodyguard reportedly called Schwartz a "little Jew boy" and continued to ask "What are you going to do about it, Jew boy?"

Schwartz was the neighbour involved in the notorious egging incident in January 2014. The incident was filmed and Schwartz pressed charges against the 'Boyfriend' singer who was forced to pay $80,900 in damages, attend anger management classes and complete 6 days of community service. Bieber is currently on probation after being sentenced to the classes and service last November. 

It is unclear the amount Schwartz is suing Bieber for. 

Recently, Bieber has been attempting to revive his image. Bieber appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show in January and in admitted he had "done some things that might not be the greatest", as Rolling Stone reports. Bieber later posted a video for his fans on Facebook in which he stated "I'm not who I was pretending to be."

"Often we pretend to be something we're not as a cover up of what we're truly feeling inside and there was a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard," Bieber added. 

Bieber's crime free streak has certainly been impressive and he's even been able to poke fun at himself in a roast, to be broadcast on Comedy Central on 30th March. In one of the sketches, Bieber is pelted with eggs in reference to his troubles with Schwartz last year.
