Justin Bieber has one less legal issue to worry about, his former bodyguard has recently dropped the lawsuit for assault and battery stemming from January 2013.
Justin Bieber finally gets a break in the midst of his legal woes.
The 19 year-old doesn't have to worry about being sued anytime soon as his former bodyguard has decided to drop his lawsuit against him.
One year ago, in January 2013, Moshe Benabou filed a lawsuit against Bieber for assault and battery after allegedly getting attacked by his boss.
He was also suing the 'Love Me' singer over unpaid wages for overtime, while employed by Bieber's touring company, between March 2011 and October 2012.
The incident apparently occurred after one of his concerts in October 2012 when Benabou asked the Canadian for the wages he was owed.
According to the bodyguard, Bieber didn't like this suggestion and began to hit him in the "chest and upper body area", but Moshe "did not retaliate or attempt to protect himself out of his concerns for Justin Bieber's physical well-being."
However, when Benabou walked away from the situation, the disgruntled pop-star told him he was fired.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned, the parties involved dismissed the filed documents last week without prejudice, meaning they can refile the lawsuit if necessary.
Bieber's attorney, Howard Weitzman, only spoke briefly on the matter, saying, "the matter has been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties."
This is one legal headache Justin doesn't have to deal with, although he still will be entering a court sooner rather than later for his current charges.
Justin Biber was arrested in Miami on Jan 23rd thile being spotted drag racing in a residential area, Police brought the 'Never Say Never' singer into custody and charged him with resisting arrest without violence, drag racing, three charges of DUI and driving without a valid license.
Earlier last week, Justin also turned himself into a Toronto police station who charged him with assaulting a limo driver. The incident occurred on Dec 29th (2013) after he and friends attended Toronto Maple Leafs game, Bieber allegedly struck the driver after he wouldn't turn the radio up to his desired volume.
