Justin Bieber’s visit to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam could be yet another of his low points on a European tour riddled with petulance, poor behaviour and, well, the 19 year-old acting his age. Bieber is already at the mercy of the press after writing "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber;” now he could face more criticism after E! Online reported that pictures have come out showing the pop star shadow boxing while walking round the house. Have some respect n’ that, yeah mate?

However, before everyone jumps on with the Bieber bashing, the people currently looking after the Anne Frank House have seen nothing but positives from the Canadian’s trip. "We'd like to thank Justin for his continued display and reinforcement of positive, peaceful attitudes, and ask him and all others to help preserve the life, ideals and legacy of Anne Frank by spreading her universal message of tolerance and social justice for all” they wrote in a statement.

This is perhaps the thing; sure Bieber might be acting in an irresponsible way while visiting the place that perhaps symbolizes most vividly the human impact of Nazi Germany in World War II, but by his simply being there is he not reminding and educating millions of youngsters of an atrocity that should not be forgotten so that it will not be repeated?
