A shirtless and tattooed Justin Bieber covers the latest issue of Interview magazine, posing as part of a racy pictorial by famed photographer Steven Klein. Inside the mag the 21 year old singer is photographed in various stages of undress (as well as wearing a clown mask) for the series of provocative polaroids. But the real revelations come from Bieber’s interview with unlikely friend Martha Stewart, who has the singer opening up about his new music and his love life.

Stewart and Bieber may seem like an unlikely pairing but the two recently spent time together at the singer’s Comedy Central Roast this past March. Looking back over the singer’s pre-fame days, Stewart asked the hit maker if he had dropped out of high school. Answering with a firm, ‘No’, Bieber revealed that he actually graduated in from high school in 2012 with an impressive 4.0 GPA.

Turning to his music Bieber opened up about his next record which he promises will be "very personal." "The new album’s going really well. I'm working a lot with Skrillex and Diplo and this guy named Poo Bear, who's an incredible writer," he told Stewart. "We've just been getting our groove. You kind of go through a period where you're in there and nothing comes and nothing comes, and then, finally, it's like bang- bang-bang – you get them all in a row. I'm at a place where I'm really happy and I'm ready to share my music."

"I'm really not worried about when it's finished,” the singer added. “I just want it to be perfect, so we're taking our time with it. I've been working with Kanye West and Rick Rubin. We've gone in with a bunch of different people. I'm just trying to get the best sound and have it be consistent and make sense with what I'm going through in my life right now.”

When asked if the new album was romantic Bieber answered “People will be able to really get in to where my heart is. It's about my journey in life – stuff that I've been through. Maybe I can teach a lesson, certain things that are inspiring." As to who Justin’s heart belongs to at the moment, the singer insisted he was once again single telling Stewart, "No girlfriend at the moment."
