Justin Bieber plans to invest in his favorite car company - because he wants a Batmobile.

The 19-year-old singer has a fleet of vehicles, but his favorite is a Fisker Karma - an electronic car he was gifted for his 18th birthday by manager Scooter Braun - so he was left concerned when he heard the manufacturers were facing financial difficulty and is now considering stepping in, particularly as their planned new model is his dream ride.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Justin's worried he won't be able to fix his current Fisker if they shut, and he really wanted to get his hands on their next model, which was due to be a Batmobile-style car.

''He's asked his assistants to keep him updated and wants to chip in to a rescue package, even though his team don't want him to invest unwisely.''

Last summer, the 'Boyfriend' singer was given a speeding ticket after being stopped by police on the 101 Southland Freeway, near Calabasas, California, for driving at over 100 miles per hour in his Fisker Karma.

The Fisker Karma is a hybrid powered sports car made in Finland, worth $100,000. The bright silver chrome plated vehicle has a top speed of 125 miles per hour (mph) and can achieve zero to 60mph in 6.3 seconds.

In 2011, Justin treated himself to a £100,000 customized Range Rover, which had a sound system worth £50,000, leather interior, modified paintwork and a Cosworth engine.

He also owns a Batman-themed customized Cadillac and a Ferrari.
