Jennifer Aniston engaged to Justin Theroux after just one year of dating? You better believe it! Despite the Friends' star's rotten luck with men over the years, it seems she may have finally found 'the one'.
Justin Theroux's representative confirmed the news to People magazine over the weekend, revealing that Jennifer Aniston had accepted the screenwriter's proposal on his birthday (August 10, 2012). Justin is probably the least known of all Aniston's boyfriends over the years - she's dated the multi-million selling musician John Mayer, the Hollywood star Vince Vaughn, and of course, was married to the biggest superstar of them all, Brad Pitt. So who is her future husband? Well, he's actually a seasoned actor having appeared in the likes of Mulholland Drive and American Psycho, as well as commercial hits such as Charlie Angels: Full Throttle, Zoolander and Megamind. Elsewhere, he appeared alongside Aniston in 'Wanderlust' and voices a character in the 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2', one of the biggest selling video games of all time. Though he also wrote the likes of 'Tropic Thunder' and 'Rock of Ages', Theroux could have been far, far, more famous. According to E! Online, the actor turned down a screen-test for 'Friends' - the sitcom that made Aniston a star, and a multi-millionaire in the process. Reflecting on his decision he later said, "Who wouldn't want to be a bazillionaire, but I don't really regret it". Aniston is actually marrying into a famous family - Justin's uncle is the acclaimed novelist Paul Theroux (who wrote The Mosquito Coast) and his cousin is British journalist and documentary maker Louis Theroux.
Though there's no word on wedding dates yet, though Justin's schedule looks pretty clear for the remainder of the year - perhaps he's keeping things clear for the big day.
