The Secrecy Surrounding Justin Theroux And Jennifer Aniston's Wedding Ruined The Planning Of The Big Day For The Groom - Because He Couldn't Tell Anyone About The Ceremony.
Aniston told family and friends she was staging a surprise 44th birthday party for her fiance at the couple's Bel Air, Los Angeles home, and only revealed the real reason for the 5 August (15) bash to a handful of guests, including comedian and TV personality Jimmy Kimmel, who officiated the ceremony, and Howard Stern. In truth, both she and Theroux had been planning their nuptials for weeks.
Theroux admits the secrecy wasn't fun for him, telling the New York Daily News, "I wouldn't say it was fun to plan. Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people and we had to keep it under wraps."
The actor/writer admits he instantly felt less stressed as soon as he and his new bride had exchanged vows, and only had a party to worry about before jetting off to Bora Bora for a honeymoon.
He adds, "I noticed it almost immediately. It was like your blood pressure goes down."
