With a little help from some major Stateside talent, it looks as though this year’s Brit Awards will be one to remember. According to The Sun, Justin Timberlake could be taking to the stage to perform his new material at the awards ceremony, which takes place on February 20, 2013, at London’s O2 Arena. If the rumours are true, this will be the first time that Timberlake has performed his music live in the UK for six years.

Timberlake’s latest single, ‘Suit & Tie’ features rapper Jay-Z and it’s worth noting that Jay’s wife Beyonce Knowles is also rumoured to be performing at the UK ceremony later this month. Could it be that we might even see an appearance from all three of them? It would certainly eclipse the excitement of watching UK stars Robbie Williams, One Direction and Muse, who are all confirmed on the bill and frankly, pale in comparison to the thought of their American counterparts putting in an appearance.

A source told The Sun “Justin will christen his comeback with a performance at the Brits… His team have been plotting his return carefully. He loves the UK and wants to announce his comeback with a top set.” The event’s organisers know that performances from the likes of Timberlake and Beyonce will draw a massive TV audience. No word from them, yet, on whether or not the rumours are true, though.
