It’s not just you and your friends getting nominated to take the ALS awareness ice bucket challenge; celebs from lists A-Z are getting involved, and we’ve got a bunch of pictures of them getting soaked for a good cause.

Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Oprah Winfrey, Ryan Seacrest, Iggy Azalea, Cara Delevingne have all taken part, as well as Mark Zuckerberg, who facilitated the sharing of these phenomenon with a little creation he decided to call Facebook. And who did he decide to nominate? Bill Gates, who decided to use a piece of machinery to aid his ice bucket challenge.

Bieber’s actually done it twice now, and made sure he removed his top for the second attempt. “Alright, second ice bucket challenge,” he said. “Today I nominate my Beliebers all over the world. I know you guy's got an ice bucket somewhere.”

Nominated by Jaime King and Taylor Swift, Lena Dunham took on the challenge,  explaining that it was 'an honour' before dousing herself in icy cold water.

Her dog Lamby came over to see what was going on, which was hardly surprising considering the Girls star let out an almight shriek when she finally tipped the bucket over her head. She then nominated her Girls co-stars Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Andrew Rannells to have a go.

The National ALS Association's Ice Bucket Challenge is raising money the charity, "which helps sufferers of amyotrophic lateral sclerosisa, a neurodegenerative disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement."
