Justin Timberlake’s domination of 2013 continues as the singer reaches No.1 with his new album ‘20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2’.

The album is the highly anticipated sequel to the release of ’20/20 Experience’ back in March (2013) and in its first week of release it reaches the top spot on the Billboard album chart.

‘Part 2’ seems to be repeating the same success as the first instalment as JT’s new set sold 350,000 copies since its release at the end of September (27th), according to Nielson SoundScan.

Timberlake’s first album of 2013 sold 968,000 copies in its first week and he currently is the only artist of 2013 to achieve two albums selling more than 300,000 copies in their first week, thus making the 32 year-old the biggest selling artist of 2013.

Trailing Timberlake was last week’s No.1, as Drake's third studio album, ‘Nothing Was The Same’, drops to No.2 with 147,000 copies sold.

The surprising entry into the album charts comes from the New Zealand born female singer, Lorde. The 16 year-olds hit track, ‘Royals’, topped the singles chart last week and her debut album, ‘Pure Heroine’, earned third position with 129,000 copies sold.

Luke Bryan’s ‘Crash My Party’ moved two places from No.6 to No.4, selling 32,000 copies, and country singer Tyler Farr debuts his new album, ‘Redneck Crazy’, at No.5 with 29,000 copies sold in its first week.

Justin Timberlake is this year’s man of the moment, he returned to the music industry after a seven year hiatus with the No.1 album ‘20/20 Experience’( March 15th) that included the successful hits, ‘Suit & Tie’ and ‘Mirrors’. He then appeared on Jay Z’s ‘Magna Cater…Holy Grail’ album for three songs and performed with him at the 55th Grammy Awards.

The ‘Cry Me A River’ singer also stars in the crime film ‘Runner, Runner’ alongside Ben Affleck, which is currently at No.3 on the box office.

JT now earns his second No.1 album of his comeback year, marking one of the greatest returns in pop music history.
