Justin Timberlake releases second single 'TKO' from the upcoming 4th studio album '20/20 Experience 2 of 2' and hopes it carries a winning blow.
Justin Timberlake released his new track 'TKO' this week (September 19th 2013) and yet again he is duelling it out with an enticing female partner in a losing effort. The lengthy track weighs in at just over 7 minutes and it is the second single to be taken from Timberlake's upcoming 4th studio album '20/20 Experience 2 of 2'.
As the title suggests, the song is full of boxing metaphors that describes a toxic relationship and the 32 year old is the loser in this bout as he chooses not to expose his cheating lover for what she is. The single is much more solid than the 1st track from the upcoming album 'Take Back The Night' and the strong backing Hip-Hop beat can only indicate Justin teamed up once again with regular collaborator Timbaland.
The track, that Timberlake teased fans with via his twitter account, is released in the same week as the crime drama movie 'Runner,Runner' hit theatres and sees the former 'Micky Mouse Club' member star alongside the future Batman, Ben Affleck.
2013 has been a stellar year for the 'Cry Me a River' singer, from releasing the critically acclaimed '20/20 Experience' back in March of this year to performing a lengthy set of career hit singles at the 2013 MTV VMAs which saw a rare N'SYNC reunion and a successful night followed as the singer-actor picked up 4 MTV awards.
The '20/20 Experience: 2 of 2' is set to be released on September 27th 2013 and contains 11 tracks that feature Hip-Hip heavyweights Jay-Z and Drake.
