The 'Big Bang Theory' co-stars, who previously dated between 2008 and 2010, denied that they had reunited after Cuoco's divorce from Ryan Sweeting.
Recently divorced Kaley Cuoco and her ‘Big Bang Theory’ co-star Johnny Galecki have taken to social media to quell rumours that the pair had become romantically involved.
The pair, who are an on-screen couple as their ‘BBT’ characters Penny and Leonard, were also in a secret real-life relationship between 2008 and 2010. In the wake of Cuoco’s divorce from her husband of 21 months Ryan Sweeting last month, rumours have had it that she and Galecki have grown closer once more.
“So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here,” Cuoco captioned underneath a snap of the two actors bumping fists and smiling at each other. “Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds – Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!”

Moments later on Wednesday (October 14th), 40 year old Galecki posted a similar photo and wrote: “No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y'all. Just profound friendship.”

Just days before Cuoco announced her divorce at the end of September, she had spoken in glowing terms about her healthy relationship with her ex. “Johnny's actually one of my best friends,” she said on ‘Watch What Happens Live’. “Ryan loves him, Johnny loves him. It's been a long time, so it's great. I got lucky. It could have been horrible.”
For his part, Galecki is also recently single, splitting from his girlfriend of nearly two years, actress Kelli Garner, in August. Fans have been making a lot out of the fact that they’re both single and have history, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Back in 2010, Cuoco told CBS the reason for her split from Galecki in the first place. “It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together… …We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn't want anything to ruin that. We couldn't do anything. It wasn't as fun as we wanted it to be. Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied.”
