‘The Big Bang Theory’s’ Kaley Cuoco has had a rough start to 2016, with two of her beloved dogs dying within just over a week of each other. The actress announced the death of her family dog Chester on Instagram Friday night, just eight days after saying goodbye to another dog, Petey.

"It hasn't been a great week for dogs so with a heavy heart I must tell you, sweet Chester (aka Chedder cheese) has passed away," she captioned a photo of the pup. “We rescue these angels blindly and have no idea what problems they may have.”

“I'm still in shock but I just keep feeling blessed to have him in my life even for a small amount of time. He was such a joy- hilarious ears and followed me everywhere I went. He loved people so so much- loved being held and cuddled.”

“Slept right on my pillow every night. I can sleep knowing that he felt extreme love towards the end of his life. Thank you @pawworks for blessing me with the big eared wonder.” Sharing another pic of Chester Cuoco added, "Love you forever Chester Chedder Cheese!”

On December 31st Cuoco had announced the sad death of her dog Petey, who she described as her first ever dog. “Anyone who knows me, knows Petey. He was basically the first dog I ever had... I was gifted him on my sweet 16, by my bf at the time.”

“I have since named my corporation after him (peteypie inc) and he has brought a lifetime of joy and laughs to our entire family. I know he will now enjoy doggie heaven where there will be an abundance of greenies just for him. This little guy, I will never ever forget..”
