Billboard has revealed that Tidal has not released the streaming data for the title
Controversy continues to surround Kanye West’s seventh album as The Life Of Pablo fails to chart in both the UK and the US after its release on Jay Z’s streaming service Tidal last week (February 14).

The album has already gathered a bucket load of baggage following several name changes, an uncomfortable mention of Taylor Swift during one song and a highly controversial Twitter spat between Kanye and fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa over the name Waves.

Even though TLOP has now been let loose on the public, Kanye as headline news still remains.
The rapper announced his latest offering would only be available to download on Tidal and, despite streaming figures now counting towards chart positions, Billboard has explained that Tidal has failed to release streaming data to sales management company, Nielsen Music.

Vice President of Billboard’s charts and data development released a statement that said "streams from Tidal for this title will not contribute to Billboard’s chart rankings at this time."
The statement continued: "Billboard has been informed that Tidal is not currently reporting streams for tracks on Kanye’s album to Nielsen Music."
Some reports have claimed that Kanye’s album has been illegally downloaded over 500,000 times since its release.
The album includes guest spots from Rihanna, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown.
