Kanye West has complained he hasn't got enough Grammy nominations.

The 36-year-old rapper is in the running for the Best Rap Album for his sixth studio record 'Yeezus' and Best Rap Song for 'New Slaves' in this year's ceremony, which recognises outstanding achievement in the music industry.

However, Kanye - who is engaged to reality TV star Kim Kardashian - thinks his album should receive more recognition because it's been a chart success.

He told a crowd at US Airways Center: ''Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list.

''But only gets two nominations from the Grammys. What are they trying to say?''

The 'Bound 2' hitmaker, who has previously had 53 Grammy nominations and 21 wins, hasn't been awarded for anything outside rap and R&B but insists this doesn't bother him.

He previously said: ''I haven't won one against a white person. I don't care about the Grammys.

''I just would like for the statistics to be more accurate.''

Rapper Jay Z leads the way with nine nominations at the 56th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on January 26.
