Speaking to Vogue this week, Kanye confirmed the recent rumours - he really is doing a collaboration album with Drake!
The musical collaboration that hip-hop fans have been dreaming about could actually be on! In a new interview with Vogue magazine, Kanye West revealed that he’s working with fellow rap superstar Drake on a collaboration album.
“We're just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” he admitted to the publication this week. “We're working on an album, so there's some exciting things coming up soon.”
Kanye didn’t reveal any working title or a prospective release date, but nevertheless the news constitutes one of the most high-profile collaborations in pop music in recent memory.

Last month, speculation about the possibility of such a hook-up started when a billboard appeared in L.A. which read “Calabasas is the new Abu Dhabi”, with the logos of Kanye’s label G.O.O.D. Music and Drake’s OVO imprint featured at the bottom of the large green sign.
Then, Kanye alluded to the collaboration during a guest appearance during Drake’s set at his OVO Fest the same month.

Taking to the stage, the 39 year old rapper said: “Toronto, I got one question for you. Is y'all ready for this album? Now, I'm not talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about Views. I wanna ask y'all right now, y'all ready for THIS album?” before pointing at the Canadian rapper.

It’s difficult to see how either of them has had the time to think about putting this collaboration together, with Drake in the middle of his massive Summer Sixteen tour across North America and Kanye busy with his Yeezy Season 4 fashion collection, which he debuted at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday night, on top of his Saint Pablo tour.
Speaking about his other plans for the future, Kanye said he plans to start a range of children’s clothing with his wife, Kim Kardashian. “I believe the first one will be in California, since that's where I stay now… I can go there most often, check in, get the vibe. But I want to do 200 stores in the next year.”
