Kanye interrupted his Saint Pablo tour gig in Tampa on Wednesday night, and slammed Kid Cudi for disrespecting him on Twitter earlier in the day.
Kanye West has responded to Kid Cudi’s string of tweets blasting him and other rappers such as Drake as “the fake ones”, by launching into an onstage rant against Cudi while performing a gig in Tampa, Florida on Wednesday (September 14th).
“Kid Cudi, don't ever mention 'Ye name. I birthed you,” he says in a fan video doing the rounds. “We all dealing with that emo shit all the time… Don't ever mention 'Ye name. Don't try to say who I can do songs with. You mad 'cause I'm doing songs with Drake? Ain't nobody telling 'Ye who to do songs with! Respect the God!”
Kanye West
39 year old Kanye signed Kid Cudi to his G.O.O.D. Music label back in 2008, releasing three albums on the imprint before leaving to form his own label in 2013.
The rapper has also continued to work with Kanye, last appearing on The Life of Pablo’s track ‘Father Stretch My Hands’ – but it looks as though any future collabs might be off the table after this latest exchange.

“You know how many people wish they could be signed to G.O.O.D. Music, get they life changed? Have that opportunity? Never forget that. I'm so hurt. I feel so disrespected,” Kanye continued.

“Kid Cudi, we're two black men in a racist world. I wore skinny jeans first. I got called names before you, bruh. Why y'all got to come at me? This ain't the end of the Malcolm X movie. I'm out here fighting for y'all: creatives, artists, independent thinkers. Don’t never mention my name in a bad manner. None of y’all!”
Kid Cudi
32 year old Cudi, who is preparing his sixth studio album for release by the end of 2016, had unleashed a string of tweets earlier on Wednesday. “I've been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now I'm your threat.”
He then called out Drake and Kanye specifically, adding: “These n***as don’t give a f*** about me. And they ain’t f***in with me.”
