Kanye West's behavior has been rather odd this year. Not Amanda Bynes odd, just odd. He's been going after photographers, boasting about his talent and going off on crazy tangents during interviews - this despite his album Yeezus gaining critical acclaim and Kanye becoming a father for the first time.

It appeared to come to a head when Kanye sat down for a chat with Radio 1's Zane Lowe last month. It was less of an interview, and more of a rapper talking for an hour about anything but his music.

"You don't realise I am so frustrated," he told Zane, rubbing his head, "I've got ideas on color palettes, I've got ideas on silhouettes, and I've got a million people telling me why I can't do it. That I'm not a real designer. I'm not a real musician, I'm not a real rapper either. I can't play the piano!"

Another section that has since become a favorite with the internet remixers went something like this:

"I've dedicated the past 10 years of my life to this. I've spent 80 per cent of my life working on this [Paris] and 20 per cent of my time working on music. Why do you think the song Niggas in Paris is called Niggas in Paris? - because Niggas was in Paris!

"I had an office in a small office in a courtyard across the street from Collette - where I couldn't even find a good pattern cutter. That's why we was in Paris...I have a very particular take on men's footwear."

Jimmy KimmelHow Will Jimmy Kimmel Tackle The Kanye West Interview?

Afterwards, Jimmy Kimmel ripped Kanye in a pretty funny sketch re-enactment of the interview, though the rapper didn't take kindly to being mocked.

"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES ... OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P**** IN YOUR LIFE..." he tweeted, in a series of barbed messages aimed at the host.

"YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY ... IS THAT FUNNY? ... OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???" he added.

"SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU F***ING BEN AFFLECK...#NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!" was another classic.

Zane LoweKanye's Interview With Zane Lowe Prompted Jimmy Kimmel's Mockery

Now, Kimmel has surprisingly announced that Kanye West will be joining him on the Wednesday's show.

"TOMORROW NIGHT, MY GUEST WILL BE @kanyewest (for real, yes and was it all a setup, no)," Kimmel tweeted.

The booking has already drawn comparisons to Oprah Winfrey's appearance on the David Letterman show in 2005, when the two finally buried the hatched - however, there's no guarantee that Kanye will play ball when Kimmel tries to defuse the situation.

If Kanye's been advised properly, he'll joke about the whole thing with Kimmel while letting America know that he's actually pretty serious about his fashion designing - but who's to say how this one's gonna play out.
