Kanye West has offered to donate a pair of his coveted Yeezy shoes to an ill fan in need of a kidney.

The rapper and wife Kim Kardashian West were so moved by Matt Neal, 26, who offered to trade his Yeezy Boost footwear for a new kidney, that they want to gift him a brand new pair if his plan succeeds, reports TMZ.

Matt - from Michigan, USA - hit the headlines earlier this week after taking to Facebook to plead for a new kidney in exchange for his rare shoes. However, federal law prohibits exchange of organs for money or merchandise.

Matt wrote: ''People are always joking that they would give a kidney for a pair of yeezy's!!

''Well here's your chance, I'm 26 with 2 failing kidneys (sic)''

Although his plan may not be legal, many generous supporters have offered to give him a new kidney for free.

Kanye's sought after Yeezy Boost line, a collaboration with sportswear brand Adidas, retails for around $200.

A new batch of Yeezy Boost 350 Black shoes sold out in just minutes earlier this week.
