That's cool Kanye, but what are your actual ideas?
The internet is still going nuts about Kanye West's huge long rant on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', where he proved that he didn't need Twitter to air his thoughts. With just one question from Ellen, he manages to cover a variety of topics from synesthesia and hip hop to Oscars racism and bullying in school. And he didn't even answer the question.
Kanye West left Ellen DeGeneres perplexed this week
Here's just a few of the most bizarre highlights. See if you can make sense of it:

1. 'I have ideas that can make the human race existence, within our 100 years, better. Period. F**k the paparazzi, whatever perception you have of me, starting with the truth, starting with what everyone's thinking, start there, put some dope s**t with it' - What part of this made any sense to anyone? Unfortunately, Ellen DeGeneres goes on to ask for an example of some of this 'dope s**t' - and we're betting that she wishes she hadn't now, after the epic nonsensical rant that came after it.
2. 'The exact amount of emotion and colour palette and sonics and everything that I put into my music, I put them into the shoes. And they worked!' - What? What have shoes got to do with sonics? Do Yeezys play music as you walk?
3. 'I didn't take it as a joke. It ain't no joke, as Rakim said. It ain't no joke. I used to let the mic smoke. Now I slam it and make sure it's broke. That's what I was raised on, Rakim. Phife Dawg, hip hop, expression, hip hop started out in the park' - This was his segue from a topic about Oscars racism to one about hip hop, and he starts bizarrely throwing out rap lines from Rakim and MC Shan. At least the digression was brief.
4. 'I don't give a f**k how much you've sold! If you playing on radio. Are you connecting? Picasso is dead. Steve Jobs is dead. Walt Disney is dead. Name somebody living, that you can name in the same breath as them' - Seriously, Kanye? Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Stephen Hawking, Banksy, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Muhammad Ali, Buzz Aldrin. We could be here all day, buddy.
5. 'Don't tell me about being likeable. We got 100 years here. We're one race; the human race. One civilization. We're a blip in the existence of the universe. And we're constantly trying to pull each other down. Not doing things to help each other' - What, like embarrassing fellow artists on stage by telling the world how they don't deserve their recognition? Taylor Swift and Beck totally understand what you're saying right now.
6. 'Five years old art school, PhD Art Institute in Chicago, I am a artist. I have a condition called synesthesia where I see sounds' - We'd like to point out that his PhD was a honorary award. Because, remember, Kanye is a 'College Dropout'. We've no idea what he means when he says 'five years old art school' - did he attend art school at five? And this is the first we've learned about West's synesthesia, which is an incredibly difficult if not impossible condition to 'diagnose'.
7. 'I remember going to school in fifth grade and wanting to have a cool outfit. I called the head of Payless. I'm like, 'I want to work with you'. I want to take all this information that I've learned from sitting at all these fashion shows and knocking at all these doors and buying all these expensive clothes and I want to take away bullying' - Now it's just getting confusing. So he called the head of Payless when he was in fifth grade? And just how is buying expensive clothes going to take away bullying?
8. 'I literally have to be Michael Jackson of apparel in order to break open the doors for everyone that will come after I'm gone. After I'm dead. After they call me Wacko Kanye' - A bold statement when you consider how many fashion designers there are out there who've gone on to change the face of fashion. Many of which are still living; Vivienne Westwood, Donna Karan, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hubert de Givenchy, Christian Louboutin, Valentino and Donatella Versace to name but a few. West has got a lot to live up to.
