Kanye West lost a number of friends as soon as he started dating reality Tv star Kim Kardashian.
The Stronger hitmaker began seeing the socialite in 2012 and they tied the knot last year (14), but West admits that because of his now-wife's reputation as a reality Tv star, some of his peers disapproved of their relationship so much that they cut their ties with him.
In an interview with Style.com West says, "But soon as we started dating, fashion people were really opposed to the idea of reality stars. And all the relationships, the somewhat friends that I had somewhat built up, completely turned their backs on her and me. They already had their back to her, and now they turned it to me."
While the outspoken West has no regrets for his dating choices, he made it clear he also has no regrets for saying what's on his mind, no matter how controversial it might be.
He adds, "Let me just explain something to everyone. I'm sorry. I'm a human being. I've got opinions, I'm not always right, I'm not always on time, I don't always say things in the proper way, but my intentions are always extremely pure. My purpose is extremely just."
