Kanye West is lobbying Drake to head into the studio with him for a joint album.
The Power rapper reveals he and the Canadian star previously discussed ideas for a possible collaboration back in 2011, but the talks were sidelined as Drake was already working on music with his label boss Lil Wayne, and West and Jay Z had just started planning their Watch The Throne album.
However, West is still keen to pursue the project and is hoping fans will react positively to the potential news to will it into fruition.
During an interview on New York's Power 105.1 radio station, he says: "I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, because maybe this will promote it happening."
He also reveals his new song Wolves, with Vic Mensa and Sia, had originally been intended for West to record with Drake, adding, "The Wolves song came from a conversation that me and Drake had where we was gonna do an album together. The album is called Wolves..."
He continues, "Me and Jay Z started talking about Watch The Throne, and Drake went and did all the records with Wayne and did the tour, and we never did (the Wolves album). But I just put it in the ether, out in the world. Y'all don't like it, then y'all can send it right back."
