Kanye West has surprised and excited fans by dropping two new songs on his Soundcloud page. While both songs aren’t exactly ‘brand new’ they are never heard before remixes, building anticipation for his next album release.

Kanye WestKanye West has just released two new tracks on Soundcloud.

The first song titled ‘When I See It’ is a remake of ‘Tell Your Friends’, the beat Yezzus dropped earlier this year for The Weeknd's album. The track lasts just 1 minute and 43 seconds. The second is a remix of ‘Say You Will’, featuring Pulitzer-winning musician Caroline Shaw, who guested on West’s 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak.

Recently the rapper performed 808s & Heartbreak in full at the Hollywood Bowl, being joined onstage by a string orchestra and eight-person choir. His next album, the highly anticipated Swish, still does not have a release date.

However in an interview with Vanity Fair last month, West said that fans could still have a long wait ahead of them before the album is released. He described the record as being ‘like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting’.

When asked if the record may take another year to complete, West added, ‘I’m not worried about the years. I’m worried about the life and the body of work that I can put out while I’m breathing,’

But aside from his musical projects, West has plenty on his plate, with his fashion line and of course his ambition to run for President in 2020. Recently he was given some first hand advice by President Barack Obama at the Democratic National Committee, on his future Presidential candidacy.

“In case Kanye is serious about this whole POTUS thing, or, as Kanye calls it, ‘peezy', you’ve got to deal with strange characters who behave as if they are on a reality TV show,” Obama said. “Saying you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy — that’s what’s known as off-message in politics.”
