Kanye West had already stolen the show by simply appearing for his special guest slot at Drake’s OVO Fest. Not content with that, the rapper also teased a possible collaboration album between himself and the Canadian superstar.

“Toronto, I got one question for you,” he can be heard saying halfway through his surprise slot on Monday night (August 1st), the final night of Drizzy’s annual OVO Fest in the city. The moment was captured in a fan video later posted to Twitter.

“Is y'all ready for this album?,” he asked, signalling to the DJ to stop for a while so he could explain. “Now, I'm not talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about Views. I wanna ask y'all right now, y'all ready for THIS album?”

At that point, Drake briefly walked out on stage and Kanye gestured at him, before he launched into ‘Father Stretch My Hands pt.1’.

Well, if it happens, it's the hook-up album of the year. However, neither Drake nor Kanye has officially commented on the matter since.

Probably the two biggest rappers in the world right now, the pair have mooted a possible collaboration on a number of occasions in the past. Kanye said about his own song ‘Wolves’ from The Life of Pablo back in February: “The 'Wolves' song came from a conversation that me and Drake had, when was gonna do an album together, and the album was [going to be] called Wolves.”

Drake told Zane Lowe just before the release of his own albums Views earlier this year that he had a huge amount of respect for Kanye.

“I love [Kanye]. He's a really good guy. I grew up with him as a role model. Always given him credit that's why we're here right now. It's amazing to be his friend. We'll just sit and collaborate. We have a few things that we’ve worked on. It’s all about finding a place for it… We were supposed to do a mixtape together an album together… You never know, he'll call me tonight and say, 'I'm putting these two songs out tonight'.”
