It isn't the first time West has celebrated an album launch with a store opening, however. Back in 2013 he opened a pop-up in New York for his number one sixth album 'Yeezus' where T-shirts, beach towels, stickers and hats were available to purchase.

The new store will be open for three consecutive days, though details of their locations will only be announced 24 hours before opening on the Kanye West website. The merchandise items, which include T-shirts and hoodies, will all have a custom design by Cali Thornhill DeWitt for each particular city.

From August 25th 2016, Kanye will be setting out on his Saint Pablo North American tour with performances in Toronto, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami and others, including three dates at Los Angeles' Forum in October and two dates at Madison Square Garden in New York in September.

'The Life Of Pablo' was released on Valentine's Day this year and features the tracks 'Famous' and 'Wolves'.

The Kanye West 'Pablo' stores will open on August 19th 2016.
