Karrueche Tran hopes she and Chris Brown can stay ''cordial and positive.''
The 27-year-old model ''had to completely part ways'' with the 'Loyal' hitmaker after she recently found out online that he had a 12-month-old daughter, Royalty, with their mutual friend, Nia Guzman, but insists she doesn't want any ''drama.''
Asked how she would react if she ran into the 26-year-old star, the aspiring actress said: ''I'll definitely keep it cordial and positive, no drama. I'm not about the drama.
''It's hard...I make it so we don't have to cross paths so it's not awkward but I do get on Instagram and there's people tagging us or I'll hear a song, you know, but I kind of just block it out.''
The brunette beauty, who first started dating the 'Turn Up The Music' hitmaker in 2011, was devastated when she learned he cheated on her with Nia after they worked hard to put his brief romance with Rihanna in 2013 behind them.
She told Big Boy's Morning Show on Real 92.3: ''When it hit TMZ I was like, 'Oh.' I called him and cussed him out. After the whole Rihanna thing, it's been a year or whatever, we've been trying to fix what was broken and that was just the icing on the cake. So I just had to completely part ways.''
But Karrueche insists she has no issues with her former love rival Rihanna, who first started dating Chris in 2008.
She said: ''We just dated the same guy and that's kind of what it is. It's always a competition thing and they compare us but she is Rihanna. She's a pop star and she's beautiful she makes great music and I'm just me and I'm growing and working into myself. You can't really compare us we're two completely different girls.''
