Kate Hudson and mum Goldie Hawn apparently had a ball at last night’s charity dinner, hosted by the Novak Djokovic foundation. The event, held at London’s Roundhouse theatre attracted a number of A-listers, from Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood and Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, to actors like Gerard Butler and Jeremy Piven. Even Naomi Campbell and tennis star Boris Becker were in attendance.

Goldie Hawn, Novak Djokovic Foundation Dinner
Goldie Hawn appeared in an elegant cream and gold gown - not the best for tennis, though.

The most active participants by far, were Hawn and Hudson, however, as sometime throughout the night, the daring actresses decided to hitch up their dresses and head over to the venue’s makeshift tennis court for a quick set, The Sun reports. While Hawn opted to merely hitch up the train of her stunning cream-and-gold dress, Hudson was a bit bolder, not only lifting up the skirts of her Ellie Saab gown, but also ditching the heels for added comfort.

Hudson's hi-lo Ellie Saab gown looked like a more practical choice.

While the other guests at the event decided not to participate in the tennis match, most made valuable contributions to the event and to the organisation. Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, fresh off the band’s 50th anniversary tour, put up one of his guitars up for auction.

Jeremy Piven, Novak Djokovic Charity Dinner
Jeremy Piven seemed to be going for the hipster look, with dark rimmed glasses and facial hair to match.

The proceeds from the sale, as from the rest of the night, will go through the foundation, founded by Gjokovic to benefit underprivileged children in his home country of Serbia.
