Kate Moss’s marriage to Jamie Hince is on the verge of ending for good, according to sources close to the couple.

The British supermodel and her rock musician husband got married in July 2011, but have now each told their close friends that their relationship is now beyond repair just four years later, with Hince now simply waiting for Moss to “move forward” with the formal divorce proceedings.

An insider told The Sun: “They are properly over as a married couple. It's gone past the point of no return. Jamie's just waiting for Kate to move forward with divorce proceedings. Neither are in any hurry but they both suspect there won't be a reconciliation. They accept they'll probably have to make some sort of statement but don't want to feel forced into anything.”

Both have been spotted in public without each other’s company in recent months – Jamie at Glastonbury without Kate, and she in Paris for Haute Couture Fashion Week without her husband. Jamie, the guitarist for garage / blues rock duo The Kills, will be taking the group on an American tour in the coming weeks, meaning that the chance for reconciliation may have gone.

Other sources claim that Jamie’s relationships with other people, and Kate’s jealousy thereof, is the main driving factor behind the split, though neither side has made any public comment. In particular, Kate is said to be frustrated with the amount of time her husband has been spending with London DJ and model Lady Mary Charteris and her husband Robbie Furze (also a musician, with The Big Pink).

Moss and Hince met in late 2007 when introduced by a mutual friend, shortly after she had finally broken off her tumultuous relationship with The Libertines’ Pete Doherty.
